About
My name is Kayla Booker
I recently graduated from the Acupuncture program at Georgian College, where I earned my diploma with honours. I’ve completed my board exams and am currently awaiting licensure results. As I transition into a full-time Acupuncture practice, I am committed to a lifetime of learning and professional development. I hope to inspire and support those who want to achieve their health goals while integrating TCM into their daily lives.

I have also received advanced training in cosmetic acupuncture, completing both theory and practical courses through the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (OCTCM) and earning my certification in Advanced Cosmetic Acupuncture. I am particularly interested in combining aesthetic care with holistic wellness to help clients feel and look their best. My goal is that as my practice grows, I wish to incorporate more Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments.
As my interest in sports therapy and rehabilitation grows, I am currently focused on using bodywork techniques—including cupping and gua sha—to support injury recovery, mobility, and performance in clients with active or physically demanding lifestyles. My passion for health and rehabilitation is deeply rooted in my fitness journey. After participating in the MudGirl 2021 event, I was inspired to incorporate fitness as a part of my lifestyle. Over the past three years, I have dedicated myself to strength training and learning rehabilitation exercises, particularly in support of my recovery from a shoulder injury. As I work towards a full-time acupuncture practice, I look forward to expanding these skills to help others achieve their recovery and performance goals.
Guided by the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I emphasize the importance of thorough assessments and a deep understanding of each patient’s health history. This whole-body approach allows me to identify patterns of imbalance and address the root cause of health concerns. Beyond uncovering these root causes, I work closely with my patients to develop a comprehensive treatment plan aimed at improving overall quality of life.
By incorporating a variety of therapies—including lifestyle recommendations, rehabilitation exercises, acupuncture, and bodywork techniques such as cupping, tuina, and gua sha— my care extends beyond treatment sessions, focusing on preventative medicine and maintaining wellness and longevity, ensuring long-term health and vitality. Building on the strong academic foundation I gained through Georgian College, I plan to continue advancing my acupuncture skills, pursue additional certifications, and stay current with evolving practices and treatments in the field. This dedication ensures I can provide the highest quality care while continuing to deepen my understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
